| GREAT NEWS! Mark is currently working on a new CD, a live album to be released this summer. It will be a fresh listen to favorites and new tunes to love. Mark is currently producing a CD by Texas songwriting legend, Ricky Cardwell. Cardwell's songs have been recorded by Jerry Jeff Walker and Gary P. Nunn. "Put The Hammer Down," with David Rawlings producing and playing guitar and Gillian Welch singing harmony and playing bass is out and available in town and on the web. Austin favorites, The Weary Boys, have recorded Mark's instumental, "Hootowl," on their new CD, "Jumpin' Jolie." Catch Mark playing guitar on "You're The One I Care For" as well. Mark also appears on the new solo CD by Mario Matteioli of TThe Weary Boys. Mark plays guitar on "Hard Luck Hittin'" which is due to be released July 28. Mark, also known as a guitar player, recently recorded on Gillian Welch’s record, “Soul Journey.” He played acoustic and electric guitars. In other news, Austin legend Toni Price is now performing "Shadow on the Moon" and "Suitcase Full of Tears" in her live shows. Go check her out at The Continental Club on South Congress in Austin every Tuesday night. In addition, Austin singer Jane Bond has recorded "Going to New Orleans" and "Train Whistle Blues" on her CD, "Volume II: Live From The Continental Club." The CD, "Violinland" was recently released by Jennifer Bryan and features her singing "Shadow on the Moon" as well as a rare version of Mark singing the same song. This record also showcases Jennifer's talent on the violin on some wonderful classical pieces. “Shadow on the Moon,” Mark's first CD, is packed with ten songs that showcase his immense talent at communicating pure emotion.
